Due to complications caused by current events, the Post Office (USPS) has been very delayed in delivering frozen currants. As a result, many packages sent through USPS have been arriving totally thawed and unusable. Therefore, until further notice, we are forced to eliminate USPS as an option for shipping Frozen Currants. The options, only for frozen currants, will be FedEx and UPS express shipping at a higher shipping cost. All other products can go by USPS, FedEx or UPS.

Everything about this transaction was exactly what it should have been: purchase, questions answered, delivery as promised, in frozen state -- perfect.
Frozen red currants are not freshly picked red currants. on the plus side: I didn't have to de-stem them.
Are they expensive? Yes. But they are a luxury item, rare, hard to find, demanding, labor-intensive.
Would i buy them again? in a heartbeat. It is difficult to justify a minimum of five pounds at a time [we make Swabian German tartlets with them (Träubleskuchen)] which do freeze rather well. Five pounds of currants will want twenty five egg whites and so forth. i am 86 years old... You get the picture.
everything i hoped for

i have my own bushes, but they were hit by frost this spring and i only picked about five cups. i use them for jelly and for pies and i can't make it through the year without both, so i had to add to what i picked. the currants i received were every bit as good as my own and i will remember where they came from when i need more. great taste, no stems or leaves and ready to use out of the bag. THANK YOU!!!
High quality !

This is a great source of currants in the US. I ordered 5 times already and can recommend this store.

It is a hot summer and mine came swimming in a soup. Nonetheless, we were making great cakes and it was perfect.
Maybe don't order during the hot season.

Beautiful, big red currants. Arrived frozen. Turned into jelly yesterday. A satisfied customer. Now I'm thinking what other sort of fruit I should start ordering!

CurrantC worked with me to ensure timely delivery of my frozen red currants during the holiday shipping rush the week before Christmas. They arrived still frozen, and in great shape. They were delicious in my red currant pie.

Never had any issues with this product. It comes frozen or semi frozen the day after it ships. I would recommend this to others in a heart beat!
