Very good stuff!

While I really enjoyed the product, I thought it was a bit too sweet for me. I had some frozen currants that I added to get the sweetness to my liking. Which also put more fruit in the mixture making it thicker. Now mind you I use it for more than just ice cream. I like the consistency thicker like a jam or salsa for various rolls, biscuits, scones, yogurt based cheesecake, pocket pie filling, and even PJ sandwiches. It is sold as a topping and it fits that bill perfectly for ice cream, short cake, or the like.

best excuse for ice cream ever

This is just a delectable sauce, I am used to Penzy's raspberry sauce and this is just a good, I love that it is not overly sweet. it adds a wonderful tang to the ice cream without taking over the flavor. will definitely purchase again

It's absolutely amazing with vanilla bean frozen yoghurt. this combination of the black currant topping and vanilla bean yoghurt or ice cream is also wonderful with waffles.

Great with vanilla bean ice cream!

A good combination of sweet and tart. Try it with premium vanilla bean ice cream if you like just the right amount of sweet, no too much.
